The fundamental source of safety is the harmonic relationship between People, Machines and Environment. Nowadays more than three traffic accidents happen in a second thorough the world. It is quite obvious that the above-mentioned three elements have drifted apart from each other. This is shown by the statistics, which were made about the traffic accidents in Hungary, too. The results of these statistics obviously reflect, which areas must be harmonised in order to re-establish the unity of the above-mentioned three elements.
From the aspect of environment the following things might easily lead to traffic accidents: tensile pressure in economical performance as well as the destructive influence of the extreme politics.
From the aspect of machines comparing to the two other elements – this is the least ‘guilty’ area, because the car manufacturers really do their best to produce safe vehicles. That is the reason why the number of deadly accidents does not increase as fast as the number of accidents themselves.
And from the aspect of people we must know that there are wrong decision mechanisms hidden in all of us, which have been imprinted in the past, and they predispose us to cause traffic accidents. This disposition arises when we are exhausted, struggle with some kind of problems, or when our attention – breaking free from the load – becomes uncontrollable.
